Welcome to Trailside Point School, home of the panthers! We are a brand new K-8 school in the neighborhood and part of a proactive and patient community in Laveen, Arizona. We have many exciting transitions happening.The excitement from the community, staff, and administration has been outstanding. The support and enthusiasm has been an incredible boost and we give gratitude and appreciation to our community and business partners. I hope you are having a safe and fun summer break. We are excited to begin another school year as we continue to increase our academic and behavior expectations. As we get ready to start the 2010-2011 school year at Trailside Point School, there are a few dates to keep in mind. 

First Day of School: August 2, 2010
School Start/End Times: 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Office Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Meet the Teacher Day: July 29, 2010 (9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)
                                            July 29, 2010 (5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) 
                                            PTA/Site Council Meeting: August 10, 2010 (6:00 p.m. room  22)
                                            No School: August 18, 2010
                                            No School: September 6, 2010
               
Homeroom assignments were mailed out the week of June 28th. If you did not receive one, they will also be given to you during Meet the Teacher Day. Please report to the gym to receive your child’s schedule. Please feel free to stop in with any questions or concerns you may have, and we will be happy to assist you. I am looking forward to serving as your principal for the upcoming school year and will see you on August 2nd.
